12th Annual Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe Memorial Clay Shoot

Apr 26, 2025

This month the Active Brotherhood and Beta Sisterhood hosted the annual Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe Memorial Clay Shoot. This clay shoot is going on its 12th year and is used as a fundraiser for the Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe Memorial Trustee Scholarship. Ethan or “Beef” as he was nicknamed was an Active Brother at the time of his passing and the Wolfe family has a deep, long-lasting and close relationship with the Beta Chapter of Delta Theta Sigma. We are incredibly honored to once again be able to partner with the Wolfe family in fundraising for this scholarship in memory of a well respected and cherished member of the fraternity. “Beef” made a lasting impression on Delta Theta Sigma and his story forever lives on in the songs and traditions of the fraternity.

The Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe Memorial Trustee Scholarship Fund and Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge and Kennels have teamed up to host the twelfth annual fundraiser, with all proceeds benefitting the Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe Memorial Trustee Scholarship. All of the proceeds raised will be used to continue a scholarship fund, the Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe Memorial Trustee Scholarship, that gives away yearly scholarships to undergraduate students at Penn State who are pursuing degrees in agriculture.
Ethan J. “Beef” Wolfe, 22, of rural Centre Hall, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 near Rebersburg, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born April 3, 1991 in State College, PA, a son of Juanita Rider Wolfe of rural Centre Hall, and the late Harry R. Wolfe. Ethan’s special, infectious, heart-warming smile, and his open, carefree personality made him an instant friend to everyone he met.
“Beef” was a valued brother of the Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity – Beta Chapter, at The Pennsylvania State University and played a significant role in the house.
